Union Hand-Roasted is an artisan coffee company bringing quality and responsible sourcing together. Directors and Roastmasters Jeremy Torz and Steven Macatonia are so passionate enjoying delicious coffee, they have searched extensively to discover family farms and smallholder co-operatives which produce the most exceptional Arabica coffee beans available today.
Union Hand-Roasted contributes to sustainability by extending the fairpremium for the coffees they source by developing close, long term partnerships with each of the farmers they work with, to share knowledge, advice and skills so producers are inherently more aware of the global environment they operate in.
They roast coffee daily by hand in small batched where the Roastmaster tailors each roast to the particular varietal, and delicately adjusts it throughout until the optimum moment at which the bean's natural sugars, inner oils and unique falvours develop. A sweeter, fuller and more satisfying cup is the result that always leaves one reaching for another.
